I am a user of Runge's XPAC, Spry scheduler, Minesight 3D and also Minescape. For long term planning I would suggest Precision Mining's Spry Scheduler. It only took not more than 5 seconds to run LOM schedule complete with haulage.

My company still using Minesight 3D as the main software to run geological block model and yes we still have to export the data into Spry scheduler so that we can play the blending scenarios, haul profile (this software is pretty amazing with the calculation concept and without scripts!) and the dump schedule.

I use minesight for short term planning and CAD feature is okay. Minescape is better for CAD. But anyway, you have to measure your budget for software purchase and the support quality from each vendor to get the right solution for your problems.
