Is the water from rain fall or external storm water entering the pit? Is rainfall even enough to collect on a catchment bench to erode the bench? 

Good day Molino, at our gravity spiral concentrator for Chromite it is most important to ensure a consistent feed grade and homogenious ROM blend. If the Chrome Oxide content is too high, the spiral will overload and separation of the spirals decrease (recovery) and we loose product to the tailings. The process is designed for a specific head feed grade, which we need to provide through blending of high grade Chromite and sweepings. I hope this helps!
